The Basement introduces the concept that light is not just illumination but the primary tool of survival.

An abandoned indoor water park. The pool is drained and the fluorescent lighting flickers inconsistently. WaterWorks introduces multi-source puzzles: several sensor panels require two light sources illuminating them simultaneously. Childhood Memories

The emotional and mechanical climax of Episode 1. A children's play area that should feel safe but has been warped by memory degradation. Slides lead to impossible destinations. This chapter introduces the TV portal mechanic: certain television screens can be activated by illuminating them, transporting you between memory fragments within the same level.

Accessible in WaterWorks. After solving the pump room dual-sensor puzzle, find the hidden Locker Room Key in the alcove, unlock the locker room, and exit through the hidden back door.

Requires completing all three TV portal memory fragments in Childhood Memories. Approach The Figure without running for the true resolution.
